Synopsis
I Love You, You're Perfect... Now Change takes audiences on a hilarious and touching journey through the many stages of love. This Egyptian adaptation, translated and adapted by Serag Mahmoud, reimagines the universal themes of dating, marriage, and parenthood with humor and authenticity. Told through a series of comedic and heartfelt vignettes, the show captures the awkwardness of first dates, the compromises of long-term commitment, and the joys and challenges of family life. With a talented ensemble and a mix of original and adapted music, this production offers a fresh, culturally resonant take on love and relationships in contemporary Egypt.

Co-directing this Egyptian adaptation of I Love You, You're Perfect... Now Change has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Serag Mahmoud’s brilliant translation and adaptation, paired with our ensemble’s exceptional performances, have allowed this show to resonate in a way that feels both universal and uniquely Egyptian.
This production is a testament to the power of theatre in bringing people together through shared laughter, reflection, and conversation. We are proud to have reimagined this musical for our Egyptian audiences, embracing its humor and heart while making it truly our own.
